Contact 608 Study Buddy
Email is the only way to reach the site. There is no phone line, no contact form, and no mailing address — 608 Study Buddy is a small independent project, not a company with a support desk.
Replies usually take a few business days. Question corrections get looked at first, because a wrong question in the bank costs every future reader, not just you.
Reporting a Wrong Question or Explanation
This is the most useful message you can send. The bank holds 386 questions and the rules behind them change, so errors do get through. If something looks wrong, please include:
- Which section — Core, Type I, Type II, or Type III.
- Roughly what the question asked — a few words is enough to find it. The questions are shuffled, so there is no question number to quote.
- What you think the right answer is, and why.
- A source, if you have one — an EPA page, a CFR citation, or the course material you are working from. This is the part that settles it fastest.
Every report gets checked against the primary source rather than against another study site. If the question is wrong, it gets fixed in the app and in any study guide that repeats the same claim, so the two do not end up disagreeing. If the question turns out to be right, you will get an explanation of why, with the source.
Other Reasons to Write
- Study guide feedback — a passage that is unclear, or a topic you expected to find and could not.
- Bugs and display problems — if a screen, button, or score misbehaves, include your device and browser. Also note that progress is stored in your browser only, so a lost score after clearing browser data is expected behavior rather than a bug.
- Questions about how the app works — the practice modes, how smart practice picks questions, or how missed-question review is built.
- Advertising, licensing, and partnership inquiries.
- Privacy requests — see the privacy policy first; it covers what is and is not collected.
What We Cannot Help With
608 Study Buddy is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. It is not an EPA-approved certifying organization. That means we genuinely cannot help with:
- Registering for or scheduling the certification exam
- Exam results, score reports, or retake policies
- Issuing, replacing, or verifying a certification card
- Confirming whether a particular employer or program accepts a given certification
For any of those, contact your EPA-approved certifying organization directly. The EPA resources page links to the EPA's own list of certifying programs, and the exam overview explains how the certification process is structured.
We also cannot give legal or compliance advice about refrigerant handling at your job site. The study guides explain what the rules say for exam purposes; a real compliance question should go to the EPA or a qualified professional.
Not affiliated with the EPA. For study practice only.
